Today I pulled for the collective Pisces sign to ask about their past and current person’s feelings toward them and the secrets they hold.
The question asked of the Universe and Guides was: “How does the past person on the mind of PIsces in a romantic connection feel about them emotionally? How does the current person feel about them? Please provide the secrets each hides from Pisces.”
Cards pulled:
Past Person
Tarot: Three of Cups, Nine of Cups (reversed), Four of Swords
Secrets: Fake Flexing clarified by The Herald
Current Person
Tarot: Three of Pentacles, Ace of Wands, Six of Cups (reversed)
Secrets: Looking You Up clarified by The Child
My interpretation:
Past Person
Your past person is deeply dissatisfied with how things turned out between you, dear Pisces, and they seem to place the blame squarely on your shoulders. This is illustrated by the tarot cards: the Three of Cups, the Nine of Cups in reverse, and the Four of Swords. The Three of Cups suggests that they see you as someone who has moved on, enjoying your life with friends, going out, celebrating, and perhaps even dating other people. They feel as though they’ve been left behind, watching you carry on while they remain stuck in their unhappiness.
The Nine of Cups in reverse reveals their deep dissatisfaction and feelings of neglect. They are not happy with the way things have unfolded, and this card in reverse suggests they may even view your social life as excessive, feeling that you are overindulging in parties and distractions. To them, it seems like you’re living a carefree life, while they’re left grappling with the emotional aftermath of the breakup.
The Four of Swords indicates that they are in a period of healing, but it is a slow and careful process. They are retreating inward, taking time to rest and recover from the emotional pain they feel. While they are working on healing, they are doing so cautiously, still harboring a sense of resentment about how things ended.
What they’ve kept hidden from you is exposed by the card “Fake Flexing,” which describes someone who pretends to have more than they do—someone who acts wealthy, shows off, or pretends to live a more extravagant lifestyle. This is clarified by “The Herald” from the Lenormand deck, a card about change, transition, and movement. It seems that during your relationship, your person may have often acted as though they were in a better financial position than they actually were. Perhaps they struggled to keep up with your lifestyle or felt inadequate when it came to socializing and going out. This facade might have contributed to the strain in the relationship, and it seems that they’ve learned from this experience. Going forward, they no longer want to pretend—they’ve recognized that this pretense caused more harm than good.
Current Person
Your current partner, dear Pisces, is deeply inspired by you and loves working with you on various projects or ideas. This is reflected in the tarot cards: the Three of Pentacles, the Ace of Wands, and the Six of Cups reversed. The Three of Pentacles signifies a strong sense of collaboration between you and your partner. They feel that the two of you make a great team, able to discuss anything and work well together. Whether it’s tackling new ventures or simply sharing thoughts, they believe that when your minds come together, you can accomplish anything.
The Ace of Wands shows their excitement about experiencing new things with you. They see you as a passionate, energetic individual, and they find this energy incredibly inspiring. It seems like your partner enjoys learning from you and appreciates the fresh ideas and adventures you bring into their life.
However, the Six of Cups reversed suggests a small challenge. This card indicates that while they love engaging in new experiences with you, they have a tendency to get stuck in the past. Whether it’s dwelling on old mistakes, holding onto past habits, or feeling nostalgic about how things used to be, this mindset can sometimes slow their personal growth or make them hesitant to fully embrace change. While they’re open to new things, there’s a part of them that struggles with leaving the past behind.
The secret they’ve been keeping from you is revealed by the card “Looking You Up,” which hints that they’ve been researching you, studying you, or trying to get more information about you behind the scenes. This is clarified by “The Child” from the Lenormand deck, a card representing innocence, new beginnings, and playfulness. It appears that, in their eyes, this snooping is entirely innocent—they might not see it as a big deal, and they may even view it as harmless curiosity. However, they’ve kept this behavior hidden from you, possibly out of embarrassment or a fear that you wouldn’t see it as innocently as they do. They may have looked through your phone, checked your browsing history, or simply been overly inquisitive, but in their mind, it’s just part of wanting to know more about the person they care about.
