Broken Mirror Tarot Review
Bluepiper
Fourth Edition
I recently picked up this stunning, unbranded deck from Temu, and I’m absolutely in love with it. The box and the included booklet are completely devoid of any branding. After some research, I discovered that the design originally came from a Kickstarter project from Bluepiper.
It’s unclear why the branding has been removed—perhaps the design rights were sold, allowing others to print and distribute the deck. This deck is slightly larger than standard and arrived in a paper box along with a guidebook
The artistry of this deck is truly exceptional! Each card features a unique stained glass design set within an arched window, creating a vibrant likeness that represents the essence of the card.
Although the imagery differs significantly from the traditional Rider-Waite illustrations, the core meanings and familiar symbols are still present, just interpreted in a fresh and distinctive way.
The visuals in this deck are incredibly captivating—absolutely stunning. It has quickly become one of my go-to decks for gatherings, where I’m often asked to do readings. I always bring a few decks with me, and this one is a staple.
While I have a strong preference for the original Rider-Waite decks, there are a few other versions I’m drawn to, and this is definitely one of them.
If you happen to come across a copy, I strongly suggest picking it up while you still have the chance. The intricate details will captivate you for hours!
Even with the unclear branding, this is one of those purchases that turned out to be a delightful surprise. The artistry and unique design make it a standout addition to any collection.
