Slavic Folklore Lenormand Deck Review

Slavic Folklore – Lenormand Deck
by Faina Lorah
36 Cards

While the Lenormand Deck is traditionally used on its own as a form of tarot, it has become increasingly popular as a clarifying tool in modern readings. This compact deck has earned its own place of popularity within the tarot community.

The cards are small and sturdy, housed in a simple paper box. The deck also includes a few extra cards with descriptions of all 36 Lenormand cards.

This deck offers a fresh take on the traditional Lenormand design, which usually features an image related to the card number with a playing card overlay. A quick Google search will show you what I mean.

Faina’s approach is entirely different. She crafts her own unique design for each card, resulting in colorful, masterful, and beautiful illustrations. There are no superimposed cards in her vision, and I’m honestly quite thankful for that.

The artist has infused this deck with such vibrant colors and intricate details, making each miniature card a true masterpiece.

Unlike the original deck, these cards feature a few key terms at the bottom, providing quick insights. For a deeper understanding, the additional cards included offer more comprehensive descriptions of each one.

This deck holds a special place in my heart, and I treasure it deeply. I use it regularly, both to clarify tarot readings and sometimes on its own for personal insights.

Among all the versions of the Lenormand Deck, this one is my absolute favorite.
