Sagittarius Past and Present Love – Energy Renewal and a Hidden Past

Aug 8, 2024 | Sagittarius

Remember: Even if this post was from a while ago, you are seeing this because you were meant to see this. Time is fluid. If you’re here, this message was meant for you.

Today I pulled for the collective Sagittarius sign to ask about the past and present romantic connections, the ones on their minds.

The question asked of the Universe and Guides was: Please provide a Runes Oracle message for the past and present person in romantic connections on the mind of the Sagittarius, as well as a message from their souls to the Sagittarius. Clarify these messages through the Tarot deck.

Cards pulled:

Past Person
Rune Oracle Card: Laguz
The Hidden Truth Card: I wonder if you are happy without me.
Tarot: Temperance (reversed), Queen of Pentacles, The Fool.  Overall Energy: Three of Wands.

Current Person
Rune Oracle Card: Berkana
The Hidden Truth Card: I hide who I really am from you.
Tarot: Seven of Wands, The World, Queen of WandsOverall Energy: Four of Pentacles.

My interpretation:

Past Person
The Rune Oracle card drawn for the past person is “Laguz,” which signifies “Flow, water, sea, a fertility source, the healing power of renewal, life energy and organic growth, imagination, and psychic matters.” The message from this person’s higher self is, “I wonder if you are happy without me.” It seems that this individual has undergone a significant healing process and is now entering a phase of renewal and inner growth. It’s as if they have been rejuvenated with a new sense of life and vitality. In this renewed state, they are able to think more clearly, and their thoughts often turn to you, filled with wonder about your current state of happiness. There’s a sense of regret lingering in their reflection, suggesting that this clarity has brought them some understanding of what was lost.

The tarot cards clarifying this reading are Temperance in reverse, the Queen of Pentacles, and The Fool, with the overarching energy of the Three of Wands. The Three of Wands suggests that your person is now looking toward the future with a clearer vision of what they desire. They seem to be in a much better mental state, their thoughts now aligned and focused. This is quite a contrast to the energy of Temperance in reverse, a card that speaks of imbalance, chaos, and extremes. It’s possible that in the past, this person struggled with extreme behaviors, possibly linked to addiction or other forms of overindulgence—or perhaps they were trapped in extreme patterns of thought. However, it appears that these turbulent times have passed, allowing them to achieve a sense of mental and emotional clarity.

The Queen of Pentacles reinforces this notion of balance. This card could symbolize how they see you—grounded, supportive, and emotionally stable. It might also reflect their own desire to embody these qualities as they move forward. The Fool card speaks of new beginnings and the willingness to take a leap of faith. Overall, it seems that your past person is experiencing a profound sense of renewal. They are seeking balance and are eager to embark on a new journey—one that might include a fresh start with you.

Current Person
The Rune Oracle card for the current person on your mind is “Berkana,” which represents “Birth, general fertility, both mental and physical, personal growth, liberation, regenerative power, and the light of spring, renewal, promise of new beginnings, new growth.” The message from this person’s soul is, “I hid who I really am from you.” It appears that this person has undergone a significant transformation, leaving behind aspects of their past self. This transformation seems to be positive, yet they might be too scared or embarrassed about their past to be completely open about it. However, it’s important to remember that our past does not define who we are now.

The tarot cards clarifying this reading are the Seven of Wands, The World, and the Queen of Wands, with the Four of Pentacles as the overall energy. The Four of Pentacles speaks of holding on tightly, often out of fear of loss. In this context, it suggests that your person is clinging to their past, keeping it hidden because they fear what they might lose if they were to reveal it. The Seven of Wands further emphasizes this defensiveness and protectiveness. It seems they are determined to guard their past, not letting anyone—including you—see it.

However, The World card indicates that this person has emerged from their past as a whole new individual, entering a new cycle of their life. This transformation has brought them a sense of completeness and happiness. They are now living with the energy of the Queen of Wands, which is characterized by enthusiasm, confidence, and excitement. They are eager to hold on to this new identity and the positive feelings it brings, keeping their past tucked away where no one can find it. At present, they are focused on enjoying their newfound happiness and looking forward to what the future holds.
