Scorpio Versus the Elements – What Are Their Intentions Toward You?

Jul 30, 2024 | Scorpio

Remember: Even if this post was from a while ago, you are seeing this because you were meant to see this. Time is fluid. If you’re here, this message was meant for you.

Today I pulled for the collective Scorpio sign to ask about the intention of the person on their mind, broken down by the signs of the elements.

The question asked of the Universe and Guides was: What are the intentions of each of the four elemental groups of astrological signs, as collectives and as the person on the mind of the Scorpio, toward the Scorpio in romantic connections?

Cards pulled:

Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Nine of Wands, Five of Cups, Five of Wands.
Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn: Ace of Swords, Four of Pentacles (reversed), Queen of Cups (reversed).
Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): Knight of Swords (reversed), King of Pentacles, Three of Wands.
Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): Judgement, Queen of Wands (reversed), Page of Cups.

My interpretation:

Fire Signs: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius: If the person on your mind belongs to this group, they are experiencing a significant amount of disappointment. Your relationship has been marked by considerable conflict, leaving them feeling heavy-hearted. The Five of Cups indicates that your person is burdened with grief, regret, and other feelings of remorse. They seem to have tried repeatedly to keep the relationship going, as represented by the Nine of Wands, demonstrating resilience and determination. However, these efforts have been met with constant battles and resistance, as shown by the Five of Wands. It appears that many of these issues are related to communication. Despite their efforts, they now feel as though nothing they do is ever good enough. Currently, it seems their intention is to stop trying.

Earth Signs: Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn: If the person on your mind belongs to this group, they have recently come to the conclusion that you two don’t work well together. The Ace of Swords suggests that they have experienced an epiphany regarding your compatibility. The Four of Pentacles in reverse indicates a lack of compatibility between two people, signifying that you do not work well together. This is paired with the Queen of Cups in reverse, which speaks of emotional imbalance and instability. Your person feels that this connection is not working out for the best. As far as their intentions go, it seems likely that they will communicate this to you soon, given the Ace of Swords also symbolizes communication.

Air Signs: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius: If the person on your mind belongs to this group, they are somewhat unstable, but they have noble intentions. This situation is a bit of a conundrum, showing a duality akin to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, suggesting possible mental instability. The Knight of Swords in reverse represents an energy that is reckless and unstable, indicative of someone who makes rash decisions. However, this is contrasted by the King of Pentacles in the center, which represents stability and wise, calculated decisions. This king figure is someone who preserves and fights for their connections. The Three of Wands shows that your person is looking towards a positive future outcome with you, something they expect rather than merely hope for. While they consider themselves stable and strong, desirous of fostering a healthy connection, they sometimes flip into making irrational decisions. Their intentions are to strengthen your relationship, though their capability to do so might be in question.

Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces: If the person on your mind belongs to this group, they want nothing more than to heal and rejuvenate your relationship but lack the confidence to take action. For many of you, there might be a current separation. The Judgment card and the Page of Cups clearly indicate that your person holds a great deal of love for you. They desire to begin again, as the Page of Cups signifies the start of a relationship or a love offering, while the Judgment card speaks of reconciliation, forgiveness, and mercy—a rebirth. Despite this strong desire, they embody the energy of the Queen of Wands in reverse, a figure marked by extreme hesitation and low self-esteem. As far as intentions go, this person wants a new beginning with you but is likely paralyzed by their fear of failure, making them hesitant to take any action.
