Scorpio – Past Person Worships You, Current Person Is Feeling Disconnected

Sep 17, 2024 | Scorpio

Remember: Even if this post was from a while ago, you are seeing this because you were meant to see this. Time is fluid. If you’re here, this message was meant for you.

Today I pulled for the collective Scorpio sign to ask about their past and current person’s feelings toward them and the secrets they hold.

The question asked of the Universe and Guides was: “How does the past person on the mind of Scorpio in a romantic connection feel about them emotionally? How does the current person feel about them? Please provide the secrets each hides from Scorpio.”

Cards pulled:

Past Person
Tarot: Nine of Cups, Six of Wands, Five of Wands
Secrets: Boss Daddy clarified by The Mountain

Current Person
Tarot: Four of Wands (reversed), Knight of Cups, Eight of Cups
Secrets: Dust It Off clarified by The Clover

My interpretation:

Past Person

Your past person believes you are the one that slipped away, dear Scorpio. In their eyes, you hold an almost untouchable place in their heart, which is evident from the tarot cards drawn: the Nine of Cups, the Six of Wands, and the Five of Wands. The Nine of Cups reveals that you were their ultimate wish fulfillment, a dream come true. They see you as the embodiment of everything they ever desired in a partner, though now, they likely view you as completely unattainable. This person has placed you on a lofty pedestal, imagining you as someone far beyond their reach, almost as if you exist in a different realm of perfection. To them, you are idealized and perhaps even seen as too good to be true.

The Six of Wands suggests that they view you as someone who naturally commands admiration and respect. In their mind, you walk through life with a spotlight on you, constantly receiving praise and recognition from others. They see you as a figure who is not only successful but adored by those around you. It’s almost as if they believe that you are someone whose presence alone can turn heads and garner admiration, and they feel like an outsider looking in.

The Five of Wands indicates that they are very aware of the competition for your attention and affection. They see you as someone with many admirers, with countless people vying for your interest. To them, this creates a sense of defeat even before they make any moves. They don’t feel as though they could ever stand out in the crowd, and as a result, they’re paralyzed by the idea that they simply aren’t good enough. This person struggles with feelings of inadequacy, believing that you are far superior to them and that they could never measure up.

The secret they’re keeping from you is reflected in the “Boss Daddy” card, which reads: “Stable, rich, business owner, CEO, Big di** energy.” Clarified by “The Mountain” card from the Lenormand deck, which represents obstacles, delays, and challenges, it appears that this person is striving to elevate themselves to your level. Much like a figure in “The Great Gatsby,” they dream of becoming someone you could admire, someone who is powerful, successful, and deserving of your attention. However, they are encountering many obstacles along this journey. They’re trying to climb a steep mountain of self-improvement and success, but they’re finding it harder than they anticipated. It’s as though they’re chasing a dream, hoping that one day they will be able to stand beside you as an equal, yet unsure if they will ever reach that goal.

Current Person

Sadly, your current partner feels emotionally unfulfilled in your relationship. The tarot cards drawn for them— the Four of Wands reversed, the Knight of Cups, and the Eight of Cups—paint a picture of discontentment. The Four of Wands reversed speaks of a lack of harmony and emotional disconnect. Your partner feels that something is missing in the relationship. There’s a sense that you two are not in sync, as if you’re walking parallel paths that aren’t truly intersecting. What should be a time of celebration and union feels instead like there’s a wall between you. This disharmony is weighing heavily on their heart.

The Knight of Cups, while a romantic and dreamy card, often carries an undertone of idealism. Your partner seems to hold onto a vision of what they believe love should look like, and they are struggling because the reality of your relationship doesn’t match up to this ideal. They’ve built a vision of romance that is almost impossible to attain, and as a result, they are becoming increasingly disillusioned. Their rigid attachment to what love should be is preventing them from fully embracing what your relationship actually is, leading to a growing sense of dissatisfaction.

The Eight of Cups is a card of walking away from things that no longer bring joy or fulfillment. This suggests that your partner is contemplating leaving the relationship. They may feel that their emotional needs are not being met, and as a result, they are considering whether it is time to move on. On the other hand, the Eight of Cups could also represent a turning point. It may indicate that they are trying to release their unrealistic ideals of romance and instead focus on self-improvement and personal growth. They might be working on becoming more adaptable and open to the unique connection you share, rather than focusing on what the relationship lacks.

The secret they are hiding from you is shown by the “Dust it off” card, clarified by “The Clover” from the Lenormand deck, which symbolizes good luck, joy, and prosperity. It seems that there is something from their past—a hobby, passion, or perhaps an old career—that used to bring them immense joy. Recently, they’ve begun to revisit this part of their life, and it has sparked a newfound sense of happiness and fulfillment. This secret passion or project has been bringing them joy behind the scenes, and for some reason, they have chosen not to share it with you. It’s unclear why they are keeping this hidden, but it could be worth exploring to understand more about what they’re going through.
